Scott

  Jacques Bermon Webster II, born on April 30, 1991, is better popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, singer, and songwriter. His stage name is the name of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing deal with GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. He's signed to Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape) was released in the year 2013 by self-release. The mixtape was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. The album that he released as his debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was accompanied by the smash track "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) earned him the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott followed that year with an album with a name of Huncho Jack Huncho, which was released under the title Huncho Jack. The third studio album Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. The album also produced his debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in the latter half of in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" that featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was in a position to release the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first artist to be ranked the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
