American actress Courtney Thorne Smith was born November 8, 1967. Her most well-known roles include Alison Parker on Melrose Place and Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. She also appeared as Cheryl in According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy on Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in San Francisco and raised in Menlo Park (a suburb to San Francisco). Walter Smith was her father. Lora Thorne was her mom , as well as a psychotherapist. Courtney was just seven years old when her parents divorced. Courtney lived with both parents for a variety of times. Jennifer, her older sibling is an advertising executive. She graduated in 1985 from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California. She also performed for the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley while attending high school. Thorne-Smith's first film appearance in the movie drama Lucas, alongside Winona Ryder, Corey Haim, and Charlie Sheen. He was her screen boyfriend from Melrose Place. In June 2000, she was married Andrew Conrad, a geneticist. The couple split in January 2001. Roger Fishman, the president of Zizo Group marketing and author of What I Know, was her husband. At 40 years old she gave birth on January 11 on the 11th of January, 2008 to Jacob Emerson Fishman.
